Another type of pleat that looks like a straight pleat but is different from a straight pleat is shirred pleat. This type of pleat is made only by the Shirring Pleat Machine, which is designed accordingly. Because more than 200 wires on it cause the product to shrink, resulting in this kind of pleat.
